the angry atheist?
I am constantly amazed by the angry atheist type who takes pleasure in lambasting God (whom they are convinced does not exist) for allowing poverty, injustice, hunger, disease, etc. to be rampant around the world…but who simultaneously refuses to lift a finger to help alleviate any of these problems. If humanity is all we can count on, as they assert, why do these types consistently not care?
If you choose to be an atheist, ‘tis your choice. I realize that doesn’t mean you have to be a ‘bad person’ or the ‘angry atheist’ I describe above. In fact, some of the atheist/agnostics I know are wonderfully sincere, caring people. If not, though, let me request you put your energy and resources into helping your fellow man instead of wasting your precious time being an uncaring ass. Perhaps you can be part of the solution instead of merely pointing out the problem.
